KH Auxiliary Announces Annual Fundraisers

The Kewanee Hospital Auxiliary is kicking off the holiday season with its annual fundraisers.  All community members are encouraged to support the Auxiliary, which in turn provides funds to purchase equipment and technology updates at Kewanee Hospital, and provides scholarships for local students.

Shoe Roads Productions – a division of Laurie’s Shoes - will be coming to Kewanee Hospital on Monday, November 28thfrom 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  The shoe show fundraiser features a variety of shoes including UGG, Klogs, Birkenstock, Dansko, and many more.  The event will take place in the East/West Conference Room and a percentage of sales will benefit the Kewanee Hospital Auxiliary.  A Certified Pedorthist™ will be on site to make sure shoes are properly fitted.  Many sizes and colors are available onsite so you can take them home that day – or if they need to be ordered, they will be shipped to your home.  Cash, check and most major credit cards are accepted and payroll deduction is offered for employees.

On Friday, December 2, 2011, the Alcove Gift Shop will be hosting its annual Holiday Open House.  Special discounts will be available on holiday merchandise.  Cold, wet Illinois “Snow-to-Go” will be available for purchase – perfect for mailing to your snowbird friends!  A new line of Hadaki handbags and laptop bags are available, as well as a full line of jewelry.  YAY! Magnets are also available for purchase, featuring all of your favorite hobbies (i.e. YAY! Shopping!; YAY! Chocolate!) and local sports teams, including “YAY! Rebels”, as they make their way to the final four this weekend.  Refreshments and samples of Krista Kay Gourmet dips will also be available.
