Kewanee Hospital

KH, Financial Planning Agencies, to Offer Long Term Care Seminar, Dinner

September 02, 2011

Many people expect to live a long life, and each generation is indeed living longer.  But living longer is not always synonymous with living better.  The longer we live, the more likely it is that at some point in our lives, we may need someone to help take care of us.

How will we pay for this care?  What impact could it have on our family?  Long term care is not an easy subject to talk about, but it is important to be prepared for your family’s future.  Long term care insurance is becoming increasingly important, as it can provide families with the insurance protection they may need in the event of an illness or accident.  It can also help relieve financial burdens and the strains of taking care of an ill or injured family member.

Kewanee Hospital’s Planned Giving Committee is partnering with Thrivent Lutheran Financial and Genworth Financial to co-host a Long Term Care Dinner Seminar on Wednesday, September 21stat 5:30 p.m. in the hospital’s East/West Conference Room. The seminar will be presented by Sunny Kurman, CLU, ChFC, CSA, CLTC, REBC, Regional Vice President of Genworth Financial.

Kurman was one of the first female area managers for the GE Financial Assurance Companies, Personal Financial Service Division.  With 32 years of experience, Ms. Kurman provides financial solutions for business, estate and retirement planning through insurance strategies, executive benefits, and wealth accumulation.  She presents workshops and seminars throughout the country.

To register for the seminar, call 309-852-7864 or e-mail .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).  Dinner will be provided.  For further information, or details on upcoming programs, visit www.kewaneehospital.comor follow Kewanee Hospital on Facebook.
