Kewanee Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Tami Harker, FNP, BC-ADM, CDE to the staff of the Family Health Clinic. Harker is a Family Nurse Practitioner, Certified Diabetes Educator, and is Board Certified in Advanced Diabetes Management.
Born and raised in Kewanee, Illinois, Harker is a graduate of Kewanee High School. She attended Moline Public Hospital School of Nursing (diploma in nursing) and Bradley University (Bachelor of Science in Nursing). In 1994 she received a Master of Science in Public Health Nursing from University of Illinois at Chicago, where she is currently working toward a Doctorate of Nursing Practice.
Harker first began working at Kewanee Hospital’s Family Health Clinic in 1994 and has worked in the Kewanee community since that time. She resides in Kewanee with her husband Dave, daughter Samantha and son Tyler.

Harker joins the Family Health Clinic’s Multi-Specialty Group of providers which includes Dr. Dan Congreve, General Surgeon, Medical Director of the Family Health Clinic & Chief of Staff; Dr. Deb Ewing, Family Practice; Kay Kinsella, Family Nurse Practitioner; and Melinda Shimmin, Family Nurse Practitioner.
