New CFO Joins Hospital Staff

Kewanee Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Preston J. Becker to the hospital’s executive team. Becker fills the role of Chief Financial Officer, bringing more than six years of experience as a CFO.
“Preston has an excellent base of experience and a warm, friendly approach,” stated Margaret Gustafson, Chief Executive Officer at Kewanee Hospital. “He understands the unique nature of small, rural hospitals and their communities. We look forward to Preston’s leadership as we continue to focus on quality care and services as well as good financial stewardship.”
Prior to coming to Kewanee, Becker served as CFO with Vibra Specialty Hospital of Portland in Portland, Ore., where he was responsible for accounting, payroll, materials management, admitting, registration, health information management and case management. He was also an executive leader in finance at Steele Memorial Medical Center in Salmon, Idaho.
Becker holds a master’s of business administration degree in healthcare administration from American InterContinental University in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, and a bachelor’s of science degree in finance from the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
Becker resides in Kewanee with his wife Katrina and two children, Brielle and Jack.
